This must be about the coolest. Imagine that you can write and draw in the air and, at the same time, you create a 3D model. This pen is about to be launched on Kickstart but you can watch a preview video here.
The Lix colored plastic creates rigid, freestanding structures such as drawing here. You will soon be able to preorder this pen, which comes in two versions a Lix 3D pen for 4139.95 and a ballpoint version for $59.95.
This drawing in the air got me thinking about how great it would be if we could just draw what we wanted to wear, get dressed and walk out the door. Perhaps these drawn clothes would be recyclable!
Virtual clothing
Anyway, until that day comes though here are a few sites where you can download clothing for your 3D models for free or for various prices.
These kids’ clothes can be downloaded from Poser, however you will need to have a Poser World unlimited download membership, which comes in three sizes 3, 6 and 12 months at $19.99, $24.99 and $49.99 respectively. This membership also allows you to download Poser / DAZ Studio models. You can find more about this option here.

Archive 3D
You can find a selection of virtual clothing at Archive 3D, which provides a basic model that can be changed as you wish.
The models are provided in *.3DS and *.GSM formats and can be used for 3D Visualization, Interior Design, Architectural Visualization, Landscape Design, 3D Animation and 3D Art.
