3D animation Abiogenesis
A spaceship lands on a world and uses its resources to create a profound change. I must admit I have been so used to all the shoot-em-up images and kill them dead with bodies flying through the air games that I was kind of holding my breath for much of the animation. Anyway, I was relieved to discover this animation had a lot more to do with creating than destroying. Nice thought.
Lightwave artist Richard Mans premiered his short CGI Award winning 3D animation Abiogenesis, and here he is talking about his project, which is followed by the film in its entirety:
