You need a storyboard when you are creating a video, as a set of drawings it maps out your idea, and helps you plan camera angles and lighting. Years ago you needed to know how to draw! Now a quick way to create storyboards, stacks and PDFs is to use the Photoshop script MR. STACKS (for Photoshop CS5).
Using a normal sized banner with just a few clicks you can create panelled storyboards one frame at a time. These can be exported into various file types such as PDF.
The creators warn that this is still in “Beta Bitches”. You are advised to save everything before using this product and they won’t take responsibility for any lost work.
However, this speeds the process of creating storyboards and you are invited to become part of the solution by telling the creators about any bugs or how to make the product work better for YOU.
TO INSTALL you need to go to http://mrstacks.com/, watch the video, and hit the download button that you find there and follow the instructions.
